This Acceptable Use Policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies to everyone who uses the Zither Tech Services. If you build a product on the Services, you are also responsible for making sure that your product's users follow this policy.
Prohibited uses
You may not use the Services to create, request, assist with or distribute:
- Child sexual abuse material or any content that sexualizes minors. We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children as required by law.
- Illegal activity, including fraud, money laundering, trafficking of people, drugs or weapons, and anything else that violates applicable law.
- Violence and weapons: planning or inciting violence, promoting terrorism or violent extremism, or giving meaningful help to create biological, chemical, nuclear or radiological weapons, or explosives capable of mass harm.
- Cyber abuse: malware, ransomware, phishing, credential theft, denial-of-service attacks, or access to systems or data without authorization.
- Fraud and deception: scams, fake reviews or endorsements, impersonating a real person or organization to deceive, and failing to disclose AI-generated content where the law requires it.
- Spam and manipulation: unsolicited bulk messages, coordinated inauthentic activity, and disinformation campaigns, including election interference.
- Harassment and hate: threats, harassment, doxxing, or content that promotes hatred of or violence against people based on protected characteristics.
- Non-consensual sexual content, including intimate content depicting real people without their consent.
- Privacy violations: collecting or processing personal data without a lawful basis, unlawful surveillance or tracking, and inferring sensitive traits such as health, sexual orientation or political views without consent.
- Infringement of intellectual property or other rights.
- Self-harm: content that encourages suicide, self-harm or disordered eating.
- Unreviewed high-impact decisions: using Output as the sole basis for decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on people, such as credit, employment, housing, insurance, education, healthcare, legal or immigration decisions, without appropriate human review.
Platform rules
- Do not publish API keys or share them outside your organization.
- Do not try to bypass rate limits, billing or security controls, or to access other customers' accounts or data.
- Do not scan, load-test or attack the Services without our written permission.
- Do not resell raw access to the API.
Model licenses
Each model is provided under its developer's license, which may include its own use restrictions. Your use must comply with both this policy and those licenses.
Enforcement
We don't store the content of API requests, but we act on reports and on signals such as unusual usage patterns. If we believe this policy has been violated, we may warn you, limit or suspend access, close your account without refund, and report illegal activity to the authorities.
